On Friday 4 of May 2018, Dr. Foteini Asderaki, Assistant Professor at the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus and Jean Monnet Chair for the European Union’s Education, Training, Research and Innovation Policies attended the Program of Assembly of the Platform EGTC.‘’White Paper, the EGTC’s contribution to the Future of Europe debate’’ that took place at Zappeion Megaron.
The Commissioner of Migration, Home Affairs and Citizenship, Dimitris Avramopoulos, who was the main speaker of the event, referred to the challenges that EU faces and as well at the need of reinforcement of EGTCs. Furhermore, the Rector of University of Piraeus, Aggelos Kotios, gave a speech about the future of Europe and the Cohesion/Regional Policy.
