On Thursday 3 of May 2018, Dr. Foteini Asderaki, Assistant Professor at the Department of International and European Studies of the University of Piraeus and Jean Monnet Chair for the European Union’s Education, Training, Research and Innovation Policies attended the International Conference: ‘’Strategic Internationalisation in Higher Education: Promoting Cooperation, Respecting Diversity’’ and gave a speech at the Panel: ‘’Greek Agencies & Organisations: Mobility & Recognition’’.

The Conference focused on the implementation of the proposal GEAR (Greece Exploring Advanced Recognition in Higher Education), and was organised by the Directorate-General for Higher Education of the Ministry of Education, Research and Religious Affairs, in cooperation with the State Scholarships Foundation. The program GEAR aims to evaluate the existing situation in Greece , as regards the mobility, the procedures of recognition of studies and to contribute at their reinforcement with the participation of all the entities that are involved.
